Weather in Rarotonga / Pogoda na Rarotonga

The weather here is good all year round.

In the winter the temperature is between 18–25 C and in the summertime 25-30 C.

We have to expect rain in the whole year, although the months Dec – Mar are called “rainy season“ as it appears to be more rainy.

So when is the best time for a visit?

Tourists visit Raro throughout the year , although there is more in the winter season when the flights are a little bit cheaper than in the summer.

Also the weather has something to do with it.. Summer can be really hot and humid when winter is just pleasant.

Tourists complain when the rain doesn’t leave them for their whole stay.

They start nagging .. because the weather is crap, and everything is not how it should be. It is just because they are unhappy and bored.

The rain doesn’t mean storms or tsunami, we can still go for a swim or jump into the bus to see different parts of the island. What about just sitting in a nice cafe or go to a bar and enjoy drinking mojitos?

I understand their frustration, but unfortunately we can’t choose the weather like a tv channel.. You must have a bit of luck as well!

Tutejsza pogoda jest dobra na wizytę o każdej porze roku.

Temperatura waha sie w granicach 18-25 C zima, natomiast latem 25-30 C stopni.

Deszczy należy się spodziewać przez cały rok, chociaż latem od grudnia do marca można powiedzieć, że mamy do czynienia z sezonem deszczowym.

Kiedy więc jest najlepszy czas na wizyte?

Turyści odwiedzają Rarotongę o każdej porze roku, choć jest ich więcej w sezonie zimowo-jesiennym, kiedy loty są tańsze w porównaniu z sezonem letnio-wiosennym.

Ma na to wpływ także pogoda, mimo, że przyjemnie jest przez cały rok, to latem może być dość upalnie i duszno, kiedy zimą jest przyjemnie.

Turyści, oh turyści narzekają sporo jak deszcz towarzyszy im przez czas ich pobytu.

Zaczynają nie tylko skarżyć się na pogodę, ale na wszystko co tylko. Bo najzwyczajniej im się nudzi. Deszcz nie oznacza sztormów czy tsunami. Można iść popływać, wsiąść w autobus i pozwiedzać czy usiąść w miłej kafejce, a może i lepiej w barze przy jakimś mojito.

Rozumiem ich frustrację, ale niestety na pogodę nie mamy wpływu. Odrobinę szczęścia też trzeba mieć!
